Paradise on Earth

A collection of poems by David Morin

A Change in the Air

Hay bales lay dotted across the field

The skies were grey and heavy with rain clouds

At regular intervals there shelter belts with fir trees

The backdrop to this was a range of rolling hills

Swallows gathering together for the long journey back to Africa

A gentle breeze was constantly blowing

The skies were starting to clear

It was mid September a change could be felt in the air

Summer drawing to a close once again season to season
