Albatross
Another dawn broke over the South Atlantic Ocean
A lone Albatross skimmed across the waves
With little effort she flew up and on to the island where she met her lifetime mate. Their beaks gently touched each other
The breeding season was over. They had raised a single chick
Before long cold weather fronts would come from Antarctica
The days preceding the weather was kind
The albatross and her mate took full advantage of time
The albatross took off gracefully to the skies once more
