Paradise on Earth

A collection of poems by David Morin

Reflections at the Tower

Snow was lying thinly on the ground as I past through a herd of cattle on the way to the old tower

I noticed a buzzard circling over the Tower calling, calling

The Tower was steeped in History going back to King David the second and the Bruce family Rabbie Burns had been to the Tower also

I went to the Tower quite often to reflect and think things through the Tower us situated on top of King Seat Hill a small hill

The light faded the cattle were still beside the Tower the full moon was apparent to see low in the sky right across from me

I was thinking about nothing in particular at that point in time just soaking in my surroundings

Moonbeams took me carefully through the herd of sleeping cattle
