Paradise on Earth

A collection of poems by David Morin

The Castle Ruin

A narrow band of mist rolled down the hillside

Beyond lay the ruins of an ancient castle

The Castle's reflection was mirrored on the calm loch in front of it

The castle had a past but no future

But as a ruin it may well pass the test of time

Restoration may be an answer only time will tell

Meanwhile the Castle Ruin stands as a monument to centuries gone by
